Iran Talent Discovery short fest rolls out nominees

Nominees for "Talent Discovery" Online Short fest in Iran have been unveiled with famous directors and actors on the selection panel.

The debut edition of the short film event has the likes of actress Mahtab Keramati, actor Atila Pesyani and director Pouran Derakhshandeh on the selection panel for the talented short film cast and crew in Iran.

Mohammad-Javad Khoursh’s ‘Compulsory’ and ‘Unfinished’ by Reza Salahvarzi have won most nominations among other films in various categories of the Short Film Competition section such as Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress. 

This festival started on November 13 and continues until November 20.

The closing ceremony of the 1st online short fest "Talent Discovery" will be held Friday with the award winners of the Short Film Competition to be announced online.

The winners of the Talent Discovery section are due to be revealed later.
